Reports claim that the likes of KVP Ramachander Rao,Raghuveera Reddy, former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy were proposed.

People there are still unable to digest the fact that the state was divided. The situation of Congress in Telangana is somewhat better.

To end the crisis and internal issues within the T-Congress, the party high command took a daring decision of appointing Revanth Reddy as TPCC chief instead of going for the senior leaders.
