The ex-Minister attempted to commit suicide by hanging in a guesthouse in Mysore about 150km from Bangalore. His driver who found him hanging brought him down and rushed him to Apollo hospital.
According to reports Ramdas, a 54-year-old bachelor, was upset after he came to know that a woman, who claimed that he married her recently, threatened to expose his relationship with audio and video evidence
Yesterday a woman named Prem kumari in her late 30s has made a serious allegation against Ramadas .She told the media that she was "unofficially married" to Ramadas when he was a minister in the BJP government and he started ignoring her in the recent months
Ramadas was medical education minister in the previous BJP government. He represented Krishnaraja assembly seat in Mysore thrice. He lost to the Congress candidate in the May 2013 assembly elections
