Fresh Coronavirus infections which have been decreasing in Andhra Pradesh gradually, fell further as with as many as 5,120 patients catching the virus in the past 24 hours.
With the latest addition of fresh infections, the total Coronavirus related infections in the state zoomed to 7,34,427. Over the past few weeks, the fresh cases have been decreased.
During August, Andhra Pradesh witnessed more than 10,000 fresh infections daily. From September, the average of fresh cases started reducing. In the last week, Ap witnessed an average of around 7,000. Now the state has an average of around 5,000
On a brighter note, 6,349 patients were declared cured and discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours. So far, a total of 6,78,828 patients have been recovered from the virus.
The active cases in the state in the state rapidly and the active cases were restricted to 49,513 in Andhra Pradesh. The count of recovered cases is more than ten times than of active cases.
According to the media bulletin, 34 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total toll of the fatalities in connection with the Coronavirus to 6,086.
