Google To Provide Rs 75,000 For Employees As The Offices Reopen From July 6

Tech giant Google is geared-up to reopen the offices which were shut down ever since the lockout was imposed. The reopening of offices will be taking place in a phased manner.

The Company will also give $1,000 (around 75,000) to every employee globally towards the expenses for the necessary equipment and office furniture as they are on work from home.

Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed the same and said that more buildings in the cities will kickstart from the 6th of July.

Sundar Pichai said that as they have to follow the health and safety measures like following social distancing norms and sanitization guidelines the new offices will be different than the ones the employees worked earlier.

Google is eying to re-open the offices only in some areas while the lion share of the offices will remain shut. The Tech giant is also working to invest more in the work from home module so that the employees contribute productively and also they can feel comfortable.
