Harish Rao's Comments On AP Construction Workers!

Update: 2023-04-12 13:28 GMT
The combined Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated in 2014 and it's been over eight years since this. Even after the bifurcation, the issues between the two states are not sorted out and they pop up regularly. Be it water sharing or the assets or electricity formation, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are locking horns. Earlier, the centre stepped in to resolve the water disputes.

On top of this, we are seeing a war of words between the leaders of the two states. The leaders from Telangana often make such comments. To this, the Andhra Pradesh leaders respond which adds fuel to this.

Now Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao made some comments. Speaking at the construction workers building construction at Siddipet, Harish Rao urged the AP construction workers settled in Telangana to enroll the votes here.

Workers who came to Telangana from Andhra Pradesh for work know the situations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There is a difference of the sky and earth for the development in AP and Telangana. He asked them to see the ruling in Andhra and Telangana. He requested them to enroll votes in Telangana. He said as if AP is not a competition to Telangana in roads and hospitals.

Looking at the reason behind Harish Rao making such comments, the elections are approaching in the state. It appears that development is only what is happening in Hyderabad. Everyone knows how worse the drainage system and roads are in Hyderabad.

Moreover, Harish Rao has to say what is the situation of development in the rest of the state barring the capital city. People know how bad the road conditions are in districts and villages. It will be good if we do not talk about the clinics and their developments. We will get clarity on what development is happening in the state if we minus Hyderabad from this.

This is not the right thing to ask for votes from AP people. There are many minuses in the KCR ruling. There will be a fight between the states if the issues are addressed. That's why no one talks about Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. But the same is not the case with Telangana leaders. There is no wrong in flaunting Telangana if votes are needed from AP. But there is no need to target Andhra Pradesh.
