The images of Kavitha showing those mobile phones were published on the front pages of all the newspapers. Many believe that by doing this, she has falsified her own denial of ED claim. Now, it is clear that she did indeed use ten mobile phones as claimed by the ED.
Secondly, there are questions as to whether the mobile phones she furnished were the same as those claimed by the ED. There are unconfirmed reports that the IMEI numbers claimed by the ED were not matching with the IMEI numbers of the mobile phones submitted by Kavitha Kalwakuntla. All these have put her on the dock and doubts about her involvement have got more credence.
Meanwhile, Kavitha got no relief from the courts in the ED case. The court has refused to hear her case urgently. This only means that Kavitha will now have to appear before the ED as and when the investigating authority wants her to attend.
