AP High Court on Friday cancelled the bail of Janupally Srinivasa Rao who attacked YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the Visakha Airport. National Investigation Agency (NIA) moved a petition seeking cancellation of the bail. Upon hearing the arguments of counsels representing NIA and Accused, High Court took a decision in favour of the central agency.
Srinivasa Rao was granted bail on May 22nd and he walked out of the prison on 25th. NIA brought to the notice of High Court that Lower Court hasn't taken into consideration that the investigation is incomplete. It also mentioned in the petition, 'Lower Court hadn't even specify the reasons for granting bail. As per Section 6 of the Civil Aviation Protection Act, It's mandatory to disclose on what grounds bail has been granted'.
