Ambassador, an automobile manufactured by Hindustan Motors may be the rnlongest served Car in India during its long production run from 1958 to rn2014, and it was often referred to as the King of Indian Roads.
Thern Indian company DC2 has reimagined the Ambassador for modern times by rncreating the e Amby. This car will run on Electricity. As per the rnsources, this modified vehicle is set to be launched in the country by rnthe end of 2021.
However, this car doesn't carry the 'Ambassador'rn name due to copyright issues. The reason for this is Hindustan Motors rnagreed to the sale of the Ambassador brand, including the trademarks, torn PSA Group back in 2017.
As of now, the company has four finishedrn prototypes undergoing development in Switzerland. The idea was to bringrn the units to India at the end of the month, but the lockdown has pushedrn this back to June.
