Giving strength to the claims of Donald Trump, Hundreds of undocumented immigrants have been arrested in six states of US this week. These illegal immigrants were identified in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, South Carolina, Atlanta and North Carolina.
As many as 200 arrests were happened in Atlanta. The count stood at 161 in Los Angeles. This exercise is being seen as the first large scale crackdown after Trump was sworn-in as President.
Officials told the arrests took place as part of the routine immigration enforcement actions. What's worrying is that most of them who were arrested were serious criminals with involvement in murders and domestic violence.
