Cops from Mahankali station traffic came up with the idea of a 'Shame Garland' campaign. As part of the campaign people who were violating norms in roads will be garlanded on the spot by these cops.
As part of this Police campaigning against the public urination first and garlanding the public who relieving themselves on footpaths. Police caught around 15 people on the first day of the campaign and honoured them. They garlanded the men and requested them not to urinate on footpaths.
This is not the first time that the Mahankali traffic police has taken up a novel campaign. The lice team had previously distributed chocolates to two-wheeler riders not wearing helmets and politely asked them to wear helmets.
