Actor-turned-politician and Telugu Desam Party(TDP) Politburo leader Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally broken his silence over the attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh.

Nandamuri Balakrishna visited his Assembly constituency Hindupur today and met the locals and farmers and took note of the problems they have been facing. After the interactive program, Balayya spoke to the media.

With a serious tone, he condemned the attacks on the Hindu temples and the vandalization of the idols in the state.

Balayya not only condemned the incidents but also wanted the hands of the people behind this to be cut.

He shot a series of questions over the attacks. He asked how come 3 silver lions from the temple chariot of Indrakeeladri went missing. He condemned the other incidents like the Antarvedi temple chariot burning and  Ramatheertham Temple attack.

The Gautamiputra Satakarni actor said that in the ruling of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government 127 Hindu temples were attacked and called the government as the demon's ruling.

Balakrishna's comments increased the political heat at once with the leader who kept his silence reacting to the incidents and breathing fire on the YSRCP government against the attacks
