Fresh Coronavirus cases continue to surge in India as 67,151 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours and the total infections pass surged 3.2 million and reached 32,34,475.
According to the Union Health Ministery, 1,059 patients breathe their last battling the pandemic in the last 24 hours and 59,449 patients lost their lives in the country so far.
On a brighter note, 63,173 patients were recovered from the virus in a single day and 2,467,758 patients have been recovered so far with a recovery rate of 76.29%. The active cases stood at 7,07,267.
Telangana added as many as 3018 fresh infections in the last 24 hours. With this, the total positive cases of the novel Coronavirus mounted to 1,11,688. So far, 780 fatalities were reported in the state.
Fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh reported beard 10,000 cases on Tuesday taking the toll of the total cases to 3,71,639. 3,460 patients succumbed to the dreaded virus so far.
Globally, around 24,042,682 patients were infected with the novel Coronavirus, while over 16,591,338 patients have been recovered so far. 822,499 patients lost their lives battling the disease.
