Talking a serious note on China's actions, India warned the Dragon Country China of dire consequences if the nation fails to implement the disengagement along the LAC (Line of Actual Control) in eastern Ladakh.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement in this regard. In the statement, MEA states that augmentation of the existing situations might hinder the bilateral relations between India and China.
MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that the Chinese troops set aside all the norms for which both the nations agreed for. Since the past weeks, the Chinese troops are violating all the norms.
The spokesperson went on to say that the actions of the Chinese troops resulted in the rise of border tensions and held China responsible for the fierce standoff in the Glawan valley of Eastern Ladakh.
This marks the first instance where India raised its voice against China for its actions on record and backed the counter-deployment of India as just a response to China's attack.
