Indians In The US Facing Troubles

America has entered the list of the most affected nations by the novel corona virus by witnessing more than 200 deaths by the virus. Many places were under complete shutdown including closing the shops in the area.

This left a negative impact on the Indians who live in the areas that were under the shutdown. Indians there are even facing difficulties to get the essential goods following the shutdown.

The announcement of California Governor Gavin Newsom directing all residents to stay at home. He estimated more than half of the 40 million people in his state would contract Covid-19 in just the next two months tells the situation there.

"In normal times, these massive flows [of immigrants] place a vast burden on our healthcare system, but during a global pandemic, they threaten to create a perfect storm that would spread the infection to our border agents, migrants and to the public at large," Donald Trump said.

With the situation turning worst for the Telugu people in the country the representatives of the Silicon Valley Telugu Association has met the California Governor and urged him to help the Telugu people there who were struggling even to get the essential goods.

Talking about the worldwide scenario,11,500 people have died due to the deadly virus leaving 2,76,170 people infected with the virus. More than 4,000 people have died in Italy due to Covdi-19.
