An Inmate Of Agra Centre Jail Tests COVID-19 Positive

The novel coronavirus originated from the Wuhan province of China is spreading its deadly wings in India as the positive cases in the country are heading towards the 50,000 mark.

Despite the measures taken by the Central and state governments some states like Maharashtra, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh are witnessing the positive number of cases day by day.

In one such incident, an inmate in the Agra Central Jail tested positive for the coronavirus raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the virus. The authorities are looking at the reasons for the spread of the virus.

What's even more shocking is that, from the past one and half months, no visitors were allowed to the jail and the sample of the inmate was sent for re checking.14 inmates were sent to quarantine.

Looking at the situation in Uttar Pardesh, the positive cases stood at 2,998, while 60 people have succumbed to the fatal virus in the state so far. As of now, 1130 people have recovered from the virus.
