Amid the Congress High Command exercises to resolve the Telangana issue,Seemandhra leaders step up their activities to stall the formation of Telangana.Seemandhra Ministers Dr.S. Sailajanath,T.G.Venkatesh and Kasu Krishna Reddy have started efforts to keep the state united. They had written letter to Union Home Minister Susheelkumar Shinde to not to divide the Andhrapradesh.
They stated in a letter that the majority of people are opposing the bifurcation of Andhra Prradesh.They said that TRS,BJP and YSRCP would be the beneficiaries if the state was devided.The three parties would become stronger in two regions.
The three Ministers called on CM Kirankumar Reddy and appealed him not to give the opinion in favor of Telangana.Speaking to media, the seemandhra leaders expressed their confidence that the state would not be bifurcated under any circumstances. They also warned that they would resign the party if center announces Telangana state.
Meanwhile, The Seemandhra JAC intensified their agitation. In Guntur,Seemandhra JAC attacked Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Raos residence and demanded him to resign to MP post for the sake of Samakyandhra.
