Is Mahesh's Overseas Market Going Down?

Update: 2020-01-18 11:18 GMT
We usually call Mahesh Babu as a superstar but he is also considered as the king of overseas. At a time when even Bollywood stars struggled to touch the one million mark, Mahesh used to cross that mark easily. When other heroes had one million films, Mahesh had films which collected over two million at the overseas market. But his market is deteriorating nowadays.

As Mahesh's films have a great market overseas, the makers are selling it for whopping prices which is why his films are not crossing the breakeven line these days. His recent outing 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' had a grand release outside India but the collections were not satisfactory. Despite this, the buyers are printing posters with big numbers as per sources. Though Mahesh has a great market, people in the USA aren't interested in mass masala flicks. Also, Anil Ravipudi's films didn't get good response in the past barring 'F2'.

'Sarileru Neekevvaru' is falling behind 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' at the overseas arena. The theatres aren't getting packed and there is no scope for it to improve after this weekend. Reports say that this film will end up in having nearly 5 crores loss for its buyers in the full run. It is high time Mahesh keeps in mind his drowning overseas market while accepting a script from the next time.
