He had everything going for him. His father is among the tallest Kapu leaders and even today, a large number of fanatic followers literally adore him. His mother was MLA twice. But, Vangaveeti Radha has been making mistake after mistake and hence, his career has proved a non-starter. He was in Congress and became an MLA in 2004 Congress wave under YSR. Later, he joined the YSRCP and worked quite hard. But, ahead of elections, he switched over to the TDP. The TDP did not give him a ticket. So, he could not become an MLA this time. Now, he is not even active in the TDP. A few months ago, he suddenly materialised at a Jana Sena programme, fuelling speculations that he would join Pawan Kalyan. But, later, nothing was known.
The latest rumour of Radha is that he is now planning to join the BJP. He is said to have met a BJP top leader recently at Hyderabad and discussed the modalities of joining the party. Also, Somu Veerraju has been wooing him for the past few days. Now it remains to be seen whether he would actually join the BJP or change his mind again.
