Jagan’s Key Petition In Kodi Kathi Case!

It is known that YSRCP chief YS Jagan was attacked with a Kodi Kathi in the Vizag Airport VIP lounge in 2018. He was the opposition leader then. The incident created a sensation in Telugu states. After the attack, Jagan went to Hyderabad and took treatment for a few days.

The AP police investigated the matter initially. As the attack happened inside the Airport and Airports fall under the jurisdiction of the Union government, the case investigation went to the National Investigation Agency(NIA). Since then, the case investigation is going on in the NIA court.

The Vijayawada NIA court served notices directing the victim in the case, YS Jagan, to appear before the court. The Magistrate asked Jagan to appear before the court in the last hearing. Amid this, AP CM Jagan filed a sensational petition with the court. In the petition, Jagan sought directives to record the evidence through the Advocate commissioner.

Jagan maintained in the petition that he has to render services as the CM of the state. He also said that he has to hold review meetings on the welfare schemes that are aimed at the poor. Jagan said in his petition that there would be traffic issues with the vehicles that come for his protection.

He requested the court to appoint an Advocate Commissioner and record his witness in the presence of the Advocate Commissioner.

CM Jagan also filed a petition seeking a detailed investigation The NIA court said that the petitions filed by Chief Minister Jagan would be heard on April 13.

On the other hand, Srinivasa Rao who attacked Jagan with Kodi Kathi is still in jail. The efforts made by his parents to meet Jagan seeking his bail did not pay off. When they went to the Secretariat to meet Jagan, he did not get in touch with them.
