Jagan's Lawyers To Move The High Court?

Update: 2019-11-01 11:48 GMT
It has been reported that Jagan Mohan Reddy will counter the CBI court decision to not exempting him from appearing in the trial court in connection with the CBI case. Soon after the CBI court's verdict was out, Jagan's lawyer moved the High Court.

If the reports have to be believed, his lawyers have moved the High Court challenging the CBI court's verdict to exempt him from appearing before the trial court.

The lawyers mentioned that Jagan is currently holding a respectable position as a Chief Minister of a State, and he cannot appear before the trial court every Friday, which hinders the administration of the State.

They have also mentioned that if Jagan comes to Hyderabad, along with him his security should also follow him as per the protocol.

As Jagan appears before the trial court, he comes there in the CM post and his expenses for traveling should be barred by the government as per the rules.

"The exemption is sought only in the interest of the larger interest of people of Andhra Pradesh but not because it is inconvenient for Jagan," his lawyers observed.
