I will live like a QUEEN: Jayalalithaa

Update: 2016-12-06 14:57 GMT
Jayalalithaa is a fighter all her life. She reached greater heights in film industry and politics facing all the odds. She didn't even give up the hope but fought for her life in the past 75 days. That's why she became 'Amma' for Tamilians!

On May 25th in 1980, 'Khaas Bhaat' Magazine Editor Piousji wrote an article criticizing Jayalalithaa. He commented that Jaya's career has reached fag end and there is no possibility of her re-entry.

On June 10th in the same year, Jayalalitha wrote a letter to the Magazine Editor regarding the article published on her. She claimed to be clueless on how the Magazine collected such an information. In response to the comment that she wasn't receiving any offers, Jayalalithaa reminded the Editor about 'Billa' Producer Balaji approaching her to play the female lead. She further added, 'It was only I refused to do the film that Balaji signed Sri Priya for the role. Balaji is of the foremost film producers in India today and Rajinii is Tamil Superstar. If I am capable of turning down such a dazzling offer, Does that not prove conclusively that I am not in the least struggling to stage a comeback. In truth, There is no necessity for me to do so. I am really no longer interested in a film career. By God's grace, I am extremely well off financially and I can live my rest of the life like a Queen'.

Need less to say, The Magazine Editor was shell shocked with the befitting reply given by Jayalalithaa.
