Joe Biden Appoints Indian-American Mala Adiga As policy Director To First Lady To Be

The president-elect of the United States Joe Biden, who is all set to inaugurate as the 46th president on January 20, 2021, has announced an Indian-American in his cabinet.

Joe Biden has appointed Indian-American, Mala Adiga as the police director to his wife Jill Biden, who will be the first lady of the United States after Joe Biden takes charge as US President.

Mala Adiga has a close association with the Democratic party. She held various positions during the tenure of former United States President Barack Obama. Mala is even associated with the Biden-Harris campaign.

Joe Biden received massive support from the Indian-Americans in the recently held US Presidential elections. Reports claimed that Indian-American votes helped Joe Biden to win some crucial battleground states.

After Kamala Harris, Mala Adiga will be the second Indian-American to find a place in Joe Biden’s administration. While two more Indian origin leaders are likely to get incorporated in his cabinet.

Back when Barack Obama was the United States President, Adiga held the position of director for human rights on the National Security Staff as well as the deputy assistant secretary of state for Academic Programs at the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs

Mala Adiga has also served as the director for higher education and military families at the Biden Foundation.
