This State Bans People From 4 States To Enter The State

In the wake of the nationwide lockout kickstarting today, the Karnataka took a daring step as a measure to combat the disease from spreading further, and as a result, people from four states will not be permitted to enter the state.

Till the 31st of May which marks the lifting date of the existing lockout people hailing from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala will be not allowed to enter Karnataka.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa held a necessary meeting with the key officials and Cabinet meetings and decided to not let the people from these four states as a safety measure.

The outcome of the meeting is that the lockout will be observed in the state completely on the Sundays and the lockout norms will be imposed strictly in the hotspots areas while allowing the economic activities in the other areas.

On the other hand, the state decided to run the state transport corporation buses as well as the private buses and the shops will also be permitted to function.
