DMK Supremo M Karunanidhi was discharged from Kauvery Hospital after a week-long treatment for breathing difficulty caused by throat and lung infections.
Kauvery Hospital Executive Director Dr S Aravindan told Karunanidhi has recovered well and the course of antibiotics has been completed. After his hospitalization on December 15th, Karunanidhi underwent tracheostomy to resolve breathing issues. Even after discharge, He will have to use the tracheostomy tube for few weeks. Medical care would be continued to DMK Chief at his residence.
Doctors advised Karunanidhi to take complete bed rest and visitors willn't be allowed to meet him.
Kauvery Hospital sources say, Karunanidhi has recovered fastly after his hospitalization on Dec 15th. He even watched Rajinikanth's trend setter 'Basha' on his laptop from the hospital bed.
