KCR offers Rs 3 Lakh for Brahmin Brides

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took a decision to offer Rs 3 lakh to the brides who marry veda pundits and priests. This news was officially confirmed by Telangana Brahmin Welfare Parishad.

These days, Girls aren't willing to marry Men who turn into Pundits and Priests. This has become a major issue in the traditional Brahmin Families. Hence, Telangana Government decided to change the situation by introducing the new scheme. The amount will be placed in the Fixed Deposit of the Couple after marriage within a period of 3 years. They can claim the amount only after the completion of the duration.

CM KCR sanctioned Rs 100 crore for Brahmin Parishad. He promised to introduce more welfare schemes before the end of this financial year. Even the proposal to offer Rs 3 lakh to each student who studies in Veda Patashalas is under consideration.

TRS Government introduced Brahmin Industrial Development Scheme to encourage Brahmin Entrepreneurs and Industrialists. Rs 3.29 crore financial assistance was offered to 59 people who moved the applications.

KCR offered financial assistance to 252 brahmin students who were studying 10th, Inter, Degree and PG. Rs 1.16 crore were sanctioned for 56 brahmin students who aspired for higher studies in foreign countries. Poor Brahmins were given financial help through Fee Reimbursement, Pension and Health Schemes.
