KCR changed TRS to BRS to shine in national politics. He is going forward in this. As part of this, many felt that BRS would run the Karnataka polls. But that did not happen and he became silent. It is known that KCR kept his focus on Maharashtra politics. He held a few massive meetings there. Joinings in Telangana-Maharashtra border districts were intensified. Now it appears that the BRS chief is also eyeing West Bengal.
KCR is keeping up his national political aim with the BRS. He is making his moves carefully as he wants to foray into the bigger arena of national politics. There is an opinion that things would have been different for BRS if Congress would have not won the Karnataka elections. Let us keep this debate aside. Now CM KCR grabbed everyoneâs attention with big ads in West Bengal newspapers.
There are ads of KCR in the six pages of the main edition of the local newspapers in West Bengal. Giving a single-page ad is difficult in current times given the costly tariffs. But the new ads appeared in as many as six pages. Leaving the Jacket Page Ads in Telangana, massive advertisements in West Bengal ,which is far away from now are receiving mixed opinions.
Supporters say that it is a big occasion as it is the formation day of the state and the ads are aimed at showing how developed the state is in various fields. However, others have a different version to say as they say that the public money is wasted on the occasion to give publicity stunts for KCRâs national politics. Few others say that it will be innocence to expect a clarification from KCR on the massive ads.
One thing needs to be mentioned here. The ads were given in West Bengal and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi is yet to start functioning there. The leadership did not introduce the outfit to the people there. Even a small meeting was also not held there with a few leaders. We are hearing comments that Telangana formation day ads were given in newspapers ahead of its functioning in the state.
