Bommera Venkatesam is a childhood friend of Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. Both of them had studied in Dubbaka until 5th Class. Bommera was a small-time businessman and he kept maintaining good relations with KCR irrespective of his position.
Usually, Even TRS Ministers and MLAs find it difficult to obtain KCR's appointment at times. TRS Supremo, however, allowed his childhood friend to meet him whenever he want without seeking prior appointment. But, Never did Bommera misuse the freedom given by KCR.

At last, He disclosed his wish to be the Director of any Temple. Quickly, KCR appointed Bommera as the chairman of Kaleswara Muktheswara Swamy Temple in Mandhani Constituency, Bhupalapalli District. Bommera was really surprised to see his appointment as chairman instead of director in the newspapers. CM even sent the appointment order of nominated post to his Friend through Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.
