KCR knows very well as to how to confuse the rivals. BJP is one of his chief rivals in Telangana. BJP wants to emerge as a credible alternative to the TRS in Telangana and has already announced that it will contest all the 119 seats in Telangana and will battle against both the Congress and the TRS.
But, Machiavellian KCR has left BJP thoroughly confused. While announcing candidates for the Telagnana Assembly, KCR has announced a very weak candidate in Uppal, which is represented by BJP's NVSS Prabhakar. For the remaining four seats - Amberpet, Musheerabad, Khairatabad and Goshamahal - KCR has not yet announced any seat. This is being seen as a tacit understanding between the BJP and the TRS. The political watchers say that this has left the BJP thoroughly confused. On one hand, they are trying to wage a war against the TRS and the TRS on the other hand is treating them as friends. BJP insiders feel that this will affect the BJP prospects and the negative vibes among the public for the TRS will also rub off on the BJP too. Already, the Congress has started campaigning that every vote to the BJP is actually a vote for the TRS.
The BJP also does not like the idea of TRS talking of friendship with the BJP even while having the MIM as its ally. It feels that TRS' alignment with the MIM and its friendly attitude towards the BJP will hit the BJP hardest as its core Hindu voters will move away from it.
