Telangana state government is giving series of shocks to the students as well as teachers. its known that the state government issued controversial GO 36 and it costed the future of Telangana students.
When 174 colleges were found to be lacking basic facilities, the government decided to push them out of the counseling process. The government also declined to renew the license of the colleges at the last moment and it caused embracement for teachers and students.
The fate of the students who are already studying in the second, third and fourth years in these colleges is also uncertain as they will not be able to write the end-semester examinations conducted by the affiliating university.
Nearly three lakhs students were affected with the decision of Government and 60000 teaching staff is forced to look for other options as the managements were not in a position to pay them.
Other side several MNCS are showing no interest for placements from these colleges.
Every year it is a mandatory for colleges in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states to go for the renewal of affiliation. Recently JNTU-Hyderabad, Andhra University and Sri Venkatwara University conducted inspection of colleges for renewal of affiliation under their regions.
