Telangana State has officially announced battle on Covid-19 disease and decided to contain the disease spread as fast as they can.
Part of their containment program is to lockdown malls, theatres, schools and places where mass gatherings are possible for weeks till 31st March.
They gave restricted permissions to people visiting temples, asked people to conduct marriages with less number of guests.
At the press meet, KCR after announcing these decisions warned people on social media to not spread false information about Covid-19.
He warned people who spread fake information that they will be booked under punishable offences. He also warned media to not spread news about treatment or new confirmed cases that State Health Department doesn't official release.
He asked media to play responsible friend role as a bridge between Government and common public during the Covid-19 contention program and he warned that if someone tries to act smart, there will be serious consequences.
