Kids Between The Age Group Of 5-17 Were Exposed Most To Coronavirus: Survey

The novel Coronavirus originated from the Wuhan province of China is spreading its deadly wings in India which continues to be the third worst-affected nation with the virus outbreak.

In the light of the tough and testing times, a serological survey was conducted in the national capital Delhi which resulted in a shocking outcome.

The survey stated that kids aging between 5-17 years were exposed to the novel Coronavirus most and advised that they need the utmost special care.

This is the second survey that was conducted in the national capital on people that belong to four different age groups. 29.1 percent of the Delhi population developed antibodies against the SARS CoV-2, as per the survey findings.

The survey is carried out on around 15,000 participants in Delhi. Out of them, 25 percent of them belong to the age group of below 18 years, while 50 percent are between the age group of 18 and 50 and the remaining percent belong to the age group of above 50 years.

The survey has found out that around 31.2 percent of people in Delhi who are above the age of 50 were recovered from the novel Coronavirus while 28.5 people of people between the age group of 18-50 developed antibodies to fight the Coronavirus.
