Kammireddy Malla Reddy, a former Anchor, hails from Chandaram Village in Laksettipeta Mandal, Manchiryala District. He collected Rs 63 lakh from Chintam Naresh, Chaka Srinivas, Chaka Komurayya, Akula Srinivas, Mamidi Jalandhar and Siddham Ravikumar promising them Land Mining contracts. As he couldn't keep his promise, Investors demanded payback of money from Malla Reddy. Four months ago, Rs 19 lakh has been offered to them. When the investors pressurized him to settle the balance amount, Malla Reddy invited them to R&B Guest House in Manchiryala. He along with 15 Bouncers manhandled them and threatened to kill if they ask money again.
Following the assault, The Victim lodged a police complaint with the help of Manchiryala Police. Cops took Malla Reddy & Bouncers into custody in a lodge. A revolver, 15 bullets and 3 vehicles have been recovered from them.
