Man steals 9 buffaloes of BJP MLA, arrested

A person has been arrested for allegedly stealing buffaloes of a BJP MLA. Going into details three months ago on the night of June 22, nine buffaloes were stolen from the farm house of Dharmpal Singh, the BJP MLA from UP. The thieves entered the farmhouse and after tying the caretaker of the farmhouse they took nine buffaloes away.

Singh lodged a complaint with police few months before and initially no action was taken. Later he alleged that  entire administration swung into action when a buffalo of Urban Development Minister Azam Khan was stolen. He made allegation saying that no one bothered about his buffalo's and recalls how dog squads, crime branch sleuths and police personnel were put on the job to find the buffalos of ruling party Minister.

Now at last the buffalo thief has been traced by the state police. Sirauli police arrested aperson named  Akram, who during interrogation confessed to the crime.Akram says that he sold the buffaloes to a slaughter house owner in Rampur district for Rs 1 lakh.This daring act of the burglars has once again raised serious questions about the administration of UP government.
