Kapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham released an open letter targeting the chief minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu.
Accusing that TDP Government is creating hurdles for the Public Meeting of Kapus, Mudragada Padmanabham warned the ruling party will get washed away if his community revolts against it. He also alleged that a newspaper has been deliberately spreading baseless stories against him.
In his letter, Mudragada Padmanabham questioned: 'Does all castes, except Kapus, have the right to hold the public meetings? Why no objections were raised when Kammas were conducting public meetings frequently? Are Kapus Taliban terrorists? Is there a provision in the constitution preventing Kapus from holding meetings?'.
Mudragada Padmanabham claims TDP came to power only with promises like inclusion of Kapus in BCs and Rs 1,000 crore package per year. He questioned why the present Government is imposing restrictions on public meetings organized by Kapus.
