Mumbai, Hyderabad Enter UNESCO Creative City List

Hyderabad, the city of Biriyani's, haleem, kebabs, has now officially designated as a UNESCO Creative City on the occasion of world cities day on Thursday. Hyderabad is among the 66 cities named by the UNESCO in the list of new Creative Cities which aims at pushing the Sustainable development goals through innovative thinking and action

Mumbai entered the global network of creative cities under the film category and Hyderabad under gastronomy Previously, in 2010, haleem was honored with the Geographical Indication (GI) status, thus becoming the first meat-based product from India to win the prestigious tag. On the other hand, Hyderabad Biriyani has been reportedly recognized as one of the countries best gastronomic offerings.

Music, Fine Arts, Folk Arts, Cinema, Literature, Digital Arts Skills have created a Creative Cities List. The city of Hyderabad has been known for its specialty of food for many years.

Hearing the word Biriyani, Hyderabad comes to mind. Hyderabad is a heaven for food lovers, starting from Biriyani, haleem, Osmania biscuits, ice gola, Kulfi, and many more items that are famous in Hyderabad.
