Narendra Modi Stands On Top Of Global Leaders Yet Again!

Update: 2023-04-03 14:52 GMT
The Bharatiya Janata Party has a rare aspect compared to others. Whenever it came to power, it banked heavily on the powerful leader. When BJP came to power in the 1998 general elections, the strong image of Atal Bihari Vajpayee helped the saffron party. The same is happening with the BJP now since the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

During the 2014 polls, BJP banked on the image of Narendra Modi. With every year passing by, Narendra Modi's image kept on increasing. Despite negative issues like demonetisation and lack of employment and others, Narendra Modi's image among people did not come down which is rare.

Recently, he was ranked the most powerful Indian in 2023, followed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. As another big record, Narendra Modi stood on top of the global leaders as he emerged as the Most Popular Global Leader. He received the best ratings compared to others.

American-based business intelligence company Morning Consult carried out a study on the popular global leaders among adults. As a big surprise, the Indian Prime Minister received 76 percent which is the highest among the leaders on the list. Narendra Modi is the only leader on the list to get approval ratings of over 70 percent. The only leader who is close to Modi is Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador with a rating of 61 percent.

Narendra Modi's popularity started going up after the 2018 polls. As the party got the public mandate for the second consecutive term, India started giving its strong voice on various issues. India is also giving a strong message that no one can dictate terms to it.

The Russia-Ukraine war is the best example of this. When the west led by the United States tried to make India vote against Russia, India did not listen to that. India did not even stop buying fuel from Russia. This gave a strong message to the world that India has changed and it is Modi's leadership behind this.

When the world was hit hard by the Covid outbreak, India came to the rescue of other nations by sending vaccines and other medical help to others. Even big nations like the United States, the United Kingdom, and others could not do that. The WHO also lauded India for this. All these things helped Modi to get the best ratings yet again.
