The toll of total Coronavirus infections in Andhra Pradesh zoomed to 5,67,123, with the state witnessing as many as 9,536 fresh infections in the past 24 hours.
In a piece of good news, Andhra Pradesh witnessed a dip in fresh Coronavirus infections for three consecutive days.
According to the media bulletin, 72,233 samples were tested in the state in the past 24 hours and 9,536 people were found infected with the virus. So far, a total of 45, 99,826 samples have been tested.
In the past 24 hours, 66 patients breathed their last battling the contagious disease taking the toll of the total fatalities in connection with the virus to 4,912.
On the other hand, 10,131 patients managed to recover from the virus and got discharged from the hospitals accordingly in the past 24 hours. With this, total recoveries rose to 4,67,139, while the active cases stood at 95,072.
East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region with the most number of cases. The district currently has 76,808 positive cases, followed by Kurnool(51625) and West Godavari(50474).
