A few days ago, a photograph of India's Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman came out and it went viral on the internet. In the picture, Nirmala is seen posing with a girl in army officer attire.
Ever since that picture came out, rumors started doing rounds that she is the daughter of Nirmala and she is actually an army officer. As Andhra Pradesh based politician Parakala Prabhakar and his wife Nirmala Sitharaman also has a daughter named as Vangamayi, everyone thought that the girl in this photograph is Vangamayi. But she is not the Minister's daughter. In reality, Vangamayi is not an army officer and she is a graduate from the London School of Economics. The girl in the picture is a young army officer Nikita Veeraiah who hails from Mangalore.
But even before the truth came out, the pic was shared all over the internet and many believed that Nikita is Nirmala's daughter.
