Mahakutami's Seat Sharing Woes Continue

Update: 2018-11-04 10:47 GMT
Congress High Command offered 24 Seats (TDP - 14, TJS - 8, CPI - 2) for Alliance Partners. None of them are pleased with what's been offered. All the four parties which claim to be working with the sole aim to defeat TRS are unable to reach an understanding over seat sharing.

TDP reminds Congress that it had won 15 MLA Seats in 2014. Apart from those 15 Segments, Telugu Desam wishes to contest in Kodada, Patancheru, Kothagudem and Nakrekal.

Prof.Kodandaram is very unhappy with 8 seats offered by Congress. He demanded Rahul Gandhi and Uttam Kumar Reddy to allot at least 12 seats.

CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy expressed his disappointment over receiving only 2 out of 12 seats demanded by them. He even threatened to walkout of Mahakutami if not at least 4-5 seats aren't offered.

Analysts say, TDP will continue in Mahakutami even if it gets only 14 seats. Whereas, TJS and CPI may step out of the Grand Alliance if their demands fall on deaf ears.
