That the Telangana Government is passing through a difficult phase financially. The government is unable to pay the salaries of the employees on time. The government is citing various reasons and is keeping various bills pending for quite some time. Yet, the very same government has shown great alacrity when it came to passing the tour bills of KTR.

Recently, KCR and his entourage had gone on a tour of London and Davos. He left on May 18 and returned on May 29. He participated in the World Economic Forum and went scouting for investments in Telangana.  All this incurred a whopping Rs 3.42 crore.  Quite curiously, the bills of this tour were cleared poste-haste.

Interestingly the salaries of the Panchayat Raj teachers are lying pending in 16 of the 33 districts. The salaries of the contract and outsourcing employees too have not been cleared so far. The bills of several contractors, who have supplied material and undertook work for the government, remain uncleared.

The government employees and contractors are wonderstruck at the speed with which the Government's State Technical Services Board got the money sanctioned. At a time when the government is delaying other important payments, how KCR's bills got sanctioned so quickly, k the employees.
