Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is known for his political strategies. He is capable of making his opponents cope with sleepless nights with his master plans.
To appease the Reddy Community which is unhappy with the TRS Government, KCR wished to appoint a Leader from the same caste as the President of the party in the upcoming plenary in March/April this year. Initially, Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy was considered for the post but dropped the idea due to the age factor.
MLC & Whip Rajeswar Reddy is likely to be the TRS new President. KCR is expected to bring the rule 'One Person-One Post' in the party soon. Rajeswar Reddy hails from Dharmasagaram in Warangal district. However, He was brought up in Nalgonda district. He is the head of Anurag Educational Institutions.
This move comes as a death blow to Congress and TDP Parties which are trying to bring the dominant Reddy Community under one platform.
