Speculations are abuzz that Pawan Kalyan could be a proud owner of News Channel 10TV anytime soon.
10TV is currently under the control of Communist Party of India (Marxist). This media house is headed by CPI (M) State Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram. 10TV made its presence felt in the electronic media by reporting news in a sensible manner rather than craving for TRPs. However, Financial Success hasn't been achieved by it so far. This is the reason behind the plans to sell the channel.
If the reports are true, Pawan Kalyan will be taking over 10TV with the financial support from Nimmagadda Prasad. This Industrialist had the experience of running MAA TV successfully in the past. He was also instrumental in selling MAA to Star Network for a fancy price. An investment of Rs 30 crore isn't a big deal at all for someone like him.
TRPs are guaranteed as long as Pawan Kalyan maintains close association. Viewership of 10TV grows multi-fold once if the news of PK acquiring 10TV becomes official. It's not known whether Pawan would be investing his hard-earned money as well or limiting his role to making it the mouth-piece of Jana Sena Party.
