Update: 2019-10-25 09:20 GMT
Seems like Maharashtra elections have more drama than a film. Before the results, BJP was confident of winning the elections but quite oppositely the party could not win the magic figure. With these situations, Shiv Sena has demanded BJP that Aditya Thackerey should become CM and there is no further information on this. But, the news of Aditya becoming CM spread throughout Maharashtra.

Posters stating "Heartly congratulations to future CM Aditya Thackerey for wining with a good majority" can be seen in Maharashtra. Aditya is the first person from the Thackerey family to contest in Assembly elections and won with more than 65,000 votes from Varli Constituency.

BJP and Shiv Sena went to elections with an agreement that they will divide seats with a 50-50 ratio. Uddhav Thackeray made it clear that under this agreement both the parties will rule the state for two and a half years each. Reportedly, Uddhav had a meeting with the senior leaders of the party on the state situations.

Out of 288 Assembly seats, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance had won 161 seats. Individually BJP and Shiv Sena had wone 105 and 56 seats respectively. NCP party and Congress party emerged victoriously in 54 and 44 seats respectively. MIM has won two seats there. Interestingly, 13 independent candidates won the elections.
