The PRC issue continues to give birth to tense-like situations. The tense situation reached the next level with the Chalo Vijayawada rally. While the employees are gearing up to make the rally a huge success, the cops said that permission cannot be granted for the rally.
No matter how hard the cops are trying to stop the employees, they are reportedly nearing the BRTS Road in the temple city where the protests were planned by the Andhra Pradesh government employees.
The Vijayawada police setting up check spots and detaining a few employees made the employees unions have an argument with the cops. The PRC Sadhana Samithi which is guiding the protest had planned the Chalo Vijayawada rally.
The Police Department gave a special focus on the roads and National Highways that take the employees to the protesting site. As a safety measure, precautionary arrests were made by the cops and they were shifted to the nearby police station.
On the other hand, the concerned Police are urging the protesting employees to not create any issues for the common public as people gathering in big numbers at one place might result in any unwanted situation.
Having denied permission for the rally citing the Covid situation, the cops are urging the employees to keep the Covid in mind and then take further decisions in the PRC agitation. As the Covid fear is not over yet, the Cops are saying that Section 144 and Section 30 of the Police Act are effective and urged them to behave accordingly to the restrictions imposed in the city.
The employees are said to be going the extra mile to reach the protesting site. As the cops are detaining the employees at every possible place, the employees are reportedly reaching the protest site in disguise.
The pictures and videos show the employees holding placards and flexes against the PRC recommendations. Demanding the cancellation of the PRC recommendations, the government employees are agitating. Various employees unions have extended support to the protest and are taking part in the anti-PRC protests. A special eye is kept on NGO leaders and the employees.
