Quarantine hotels looting people by charging heavy amount from patients!

The hotels that were being used as quarantine facilities are now seeing a huge demand yet again with the massive surge in fresh Coronavirus infections. Over the past few days, the daily cases are going up rapidly.

Following the massive surge, the quarantine hotels are charging high prices from the patients. They are charging huge amounts as their charges which is very high compared to the fees, they have charged during the first wave.

Despite charging huge amounts, these quarantine hotels are not proving any luxuries. These hotels are just providing minimal facilities for the patients not doing justice to the money they are charging.

Unlike the other states, quarantine at dedicated facilities is not mandatory for the patients in Telangana. People are visiting these facilities to complete their quarantine period, in a bid to see that their family members won't get affected by the virus if they observe a quarantine period at their residences.

An incident reported in Telangana capital Hyderabad shows how these quarantine hotels are looting the people. A person who returned to Dubai, visited the quarantine hotel. When asked the details, the management told him that for seven days they will be charging 60k rupees.

People who want to observe their quarantine period in these hotels want the government to intervene and help regulate the prices.
