Actress Ragini Dwivedi Who Was Summoned By CCB Didn't Appear For Investigation
In the wake of the death case of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput raising doubts of drug abuse across the industries, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) has upped its probe into this.
As part of this, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) summoned Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi and asked the actress to appear before them for questioning today.
However, the actress didn't appear for the investigation today and on Dwivedi's behalf, her advocates appeared before the cops and sought time till Monday.
The Actress took to Micro-blogging site Twitter to confirm the same and said as a citizen, it's her duty to participate in the police questioning.
"I consider it my duty as a citizen to humbly participate in any questioning that the police might have. I have nothing to hide and have no connection with any unlawful activity which is being probed by the CCB police," her Tweet read.
Earlier, the NCB arrested received information from a drug dealer and arrested Kannada actress Anika and three others. The NCB is digging deeper into the drug abuse in sandalwood.
