Rahul Gandhi made it clear he doesn't bother with which party T-Congress wishes to have an alliance but the focus should be only on forming the Congress Government in Telangana. He advised T-PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy to plan seat-sharing with parties in Mahakutami accordingly.
During the internal meeting, Rahul Gandhi maintained there is no question of Congress sacrificing the seats wherein it has fair chances of victory. He told Congress won't mind offering constituencies where it isn't strong enough to alliance partners. 'Winning chances of the Candidates matters the most rather than the demand from the alliance partners. Party Leaders should refrain from making any public statements regarding the seat sharing,' he ordered.
Congress High Command appointed a 3-Member Screening Committee (Bhakth Charan Das, Jothimani Sennimalai, Sharmishta Mukherjee) to select the Congress Candidates for the upcoming Assembly Polls in Telangana. The Panel Members would reach Hyderabad on Sunday to conduct screening of the candidates suggested by Telangana Congress.
