During the ongoing World Cup, Four out of 18 League Matches which happened so far have been washed out due to rain. And the troubles won't be ending anytime soon with rain forecast for not less than 10 out of the next 29 matches have over 60 percent chances of facing weather challenges. Six other Matches have over 50 percent of chances of rain.
Much to the shock of the cricket fans, Rain could play spoilsport for the much-awaited India-Pakistan league match scheduled to happen in Manchester on Sunday. As per the forecast, There is 64 percent possibility of rain on June 16th at the venue.
What's even more shocking is that there is a chance of rain playing spoilsport in 5 out next 6 league games to be played by India. While India's matches against Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have over 60 percent chance of rain, Two other matches have 50 to 60 percent possibility of getting washed out.
ICC will end up facing the backlash if the weather doesn't allow the matches to happen. In a tournament like World Cup, It's a shame if rain decide which Teams should qualify for the Semis.
