Keeping an end to long waiting and suspense, Superstar Rajinikanth made a massive revelation on floating his political party. Thalaivar made the announcement on his official Twitter handle.
In his tweet made in Tamil, Thalaivar said he will make an announcement on his political party on December 31 this year. His political party will be launched in January, next year.
His announcement came days after he met the district secretaries of 'Rajini Makkal Mandram' at the Sri Raghavendra Sabha Mandira Kalyana Mandapam, owned by the Rajinikanth family.
In his Tweet, Rajinikanth said, he will contest the much-awaited 2021 Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu. The tweet on political announcement left Thalaivar's fan clubs in a state of happiness.
Rajinikanth made the official announcement on entering electoral politics back in 2017. But his entry into politics went on to get delayed for some reasons. Earlier in March, he was supposed to make a political announcement, due to Covid-19 he took a back step. However, he had earlier made it clear that he will not be the Chief Minister candidate.
Rajinikanth's good friend Kamal Hassan has already started his party Makkal Needhi Maiam. His party contested the 2019 Parliamentary elections and lost all the seats the party contested.
