SC dismisses Lagadapati's Pepper Spray case

Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the Pepper Spray case filed in connection with disturbing incident at the time of Telangana bill passage in Lok Sabha.

Then Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal used Pepper Spray to protect himself from the Congress MPs who attacked him in the Parliament. T-Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar had suffered for sometime because of the use of Pepper Spray. He was rushed to hospital and provided necessary medical care to stop the burning sensation in the eyes.

Thereafter, Ponnam Prabhakar moved Supreme Court seeking justice over the usage of Pepper Spray in the House. The Apex Court, however, struck down the case Today.

Congress High Command is determined to pass T-Bill at any cost in 2014. Hence, The bifurcation took place inspite of severe fight back by AP MPs, Ministers and MLAs.
